PEOPLE across Ryedale gathered today to mark Remembrance Sunday.
Towns and villages came together for services and parades to pay their respects to those who have lost their lives in conflicts.
In Malton, hundreds of people gathered at the town’s war memorial in for a service and wreath-laying by civic leaders, representatives of the Armed Forces, North Yorkshire Police, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Scouts and Guides.
Military veterans also took part in the service and parade through the town.
