Halloween events were held in Old Malton raising money for good causes.
A Halloween fun event with children’s activities took place on Sunday, October 29, and a Halloween party for children with disabilities took place on Monday, October 30, at the Old Malton Memorial Hall.
Around 90 people were welcomed through the doors over the two days with money raised for Family Fund and YIKS (York Inspirational Kids).
Organiser of the events, Amy King, said: “Thank you again to all the local businesses that contributed a raffle prize or items to make our events happen, some of these were: Malton Morrisons, Disciple 13 tattoo studio, Thornton le dale fisheries and NYMR.
“Also, a big thank you to the Old Malton War Memorial Hall for letting us use the venue on a regular basis.”
The event followed Amy’s comic con event at the venue in August where £132 was raised for Family Fund, helping support children with disabilities.
At the event children dressed up as superheroes, television characters and even a Dalek.
