St Michael’s Church in Malton is holding a special All Souls ‘Service of Light on Sunday, November 5, at 4pm.
The service is specifically designed to give time and space to commemorate loved ones who are no longer with us. During the service the names of those known to us, who have died in the last year, will be read out.
A spokesperson for St Michael's Church said: "If you would like us to include the name of anyone else please pop in anytime before the service and add to the list which is available at the back of the church.
"During the service there will also be an opportunity to light a candle in their memory. This service is open to everyone, especially those who want to find comfort in an act of remembrance. Please join us to remember those you love but see no longer."
