A family-run Italian restaurant nestled in the heart of Whitby is thrilled to announce a dynamic recruitment campaign.
Following a successful rebound from the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdowns, Cosa Nostra is expanding its team to meet growing demand and continue delivering delicious Italian food and warm hospitality to its loyal customers.
The recruitment drive offers various front of house positions, from restaurant managers and supervisors, to attentive servers and welcoming hosts.
Cosa Nostra prides itself on a warm and inclusive work environment, where every team member is a valued part of the family. They are looking forward to adding passionate, dedicated professionals to the team and continuing to serve the Whitby community with Italian cuisine.
Since Hollie McGovern and Kristy & Paul Renshaw took over the restaurant five years ago, Cosa Nostra has been captivating diners in the stunning grade II listed building with a menu of authentic Italian dishes using high-quality produce and the freshest ingredients that are locally sourced where possible. Now, as the restaurant experiences a remarkable resurgence in business, the family behind Cosa Nostra is excited to welcome new members to their dedicated team.
“As a local, independent, family-run restaurant, we are passionate about our food. Our fantastic front of house team provides friendly and attentive service in a welcoming setting with a relaxed atmosphere. Food and family are at the heart of what we do,” said Hollie McGovern, co-owner of Cosa Nostra. "We're grateful for the incredible support we've received from the Whitby people and our visitors, and we're eager to expand our restaurant family as we go from strength to strength.”
Originally opened in 2009, bought by the current owners in 2019, the updated Cosa Nostra now offers a relaxed setting with the perfect ambience for Italian dining in Whitby. Serving homemade pasta and pizza, alongside dishes with authentic Italian flavours, across the menus that cater for vegans and special diets on request.
Anyone interested in finding out about the various roles and opportunities available is invited to call in to the restaurant between 12-2pm on Friday September 22 to meet some of the team. Applications can be made in person then or through the restaurant's website: cosanostrawhitby.co.uk/join-our-team/
