Ryedale Family History Group is to welcome a genealogist to their next meeting.
Ian Waller will give a talk via zoom on Wednesday, September 20 at 7.30pm.
Ian is a retired genealogist and is currently the Vice Chairman and Educations Officer for the Family History Federation (Federation of Family History Societies).
The title of Ian’s talk for us is ‘19th Century Emigration’ so will be of interest for anyone with families who emigrated during that time as well as the rest of finding out how to access passenger lists and shipping lines and more.
