Superheroes, television characters and even a Dalek were on hand at an event in Ryedale.
The characters were out in force for a comic event at Old Malton War Memorial Hall on Saturday, August 5, raising money for a good cause.
Amy King organised the event and raised £132 for Family Fund – a charity that supports children with disabilities.
With the helping hand of Mascot Adventures, children at the event came face to face with some of their favourite on screen characters.

“We would like to say a huge thank you to all the businesses that once again supported us, either by having a stall or by donating raffle prizes,” said Amy.
The businesses involved included York City Football Club, the Palace Cinema, the Little Play Company Scarborough, Timms Family Butchers, Askham Bryan Wildlife and Conservation Park and Beetle Bank Farm.
“We will be back next year with an even bigger Comic Con event,” added Amy.
