Youngsters at Thornton Dale took to the stage for their end of year production.
This year it was the popular fairy tale Beauty and the Beast.
Every pupil from the school was involved in the production.
Class teacher Alice White, said: "Once again it featured the entire school, with Year 6 leading the acting. With so much talent we had to double up on the main parts and the other classes all supported by doing a dance and joining in the finale. Thanks to all the parents and helpers for support with props, costumes and set."
Beauty and the Beast is a classic fairy tale about a young woman who falls in love with a cursed prince.
The prince, who was turned into a beast by a witch, can only break the spell by finding true love1. Beauty, who is the daughter of a merchant, agrees to stay with the beast in exchange for her father’s freedom. Despite their differences, they gradually develop a deep bond that transforms both of them.
