It was a proud and emotional moment as five youngsters 'graduated' from Swinton Pre-School.

This year the playgroup had a small, select group of leavers - Jack,

Evie, Maise, Lucy and Lewis.

Jennie Smith Pre School Leader, said: "We had our graduation ceremony outside and our parents, friends and families came to watch the children graduate from Swinton pre School.

"We always enjoy seeing them getting into their gowns and mortar boards to be photographed. It is a very proud and emotional moment for us all."

Jennie added: "We presented our leavers with a scroll and shook hands with our graduates on receiving it. The children's learning journey files were also presented too and were very heavy filled with all our activities, adventures and observations during their time at Pre School.

"Everyone toasted their success with non alcoholic champagne and the children opened their presents which will hopefully be useful when we they go to Primary School.

Jennie added: "We will miss you all so much - sorry we promised not to cry but we always do."

"We have only a few places left if anyone would like to join our small family

orientated pre school environment for the Autumn Term. We operate term time

like schools.
