Year 6 children from Kirkbymoorside Primary School are putting on two performances of 'Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory', this week.
The students have been working tirelessly to learn their lines and songs, and they have enjoyed coming together to create the production.
Their family and friends are set to witness a spectacular performance.
A school spokeswoman said: "They have been working hard learning their lines and songs over the past few weeks and have thoroughly enjoyed putting the production together. We are looking forward to seeing their family and friends enjoy this fantastic performance."
The story of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory revolves around a young boy named Charlie Bucket, who hails from a poor family.
Set in a world where a mysterious chocolatier named Willy Wonka possesses the most extraordinary chocolate factory, the tale unfolds as Mr. Wonka decides to invite five children to visit his factory by finding golden tickets hidden within his candy bars.
Through a fortuitous turn of events, Charlie discovers one of these coveted tickets, embarking on an incredible adventure alongside the four other children.
