There were two more Covid deaths recorded over the latest weekly period in Ryedale, but the number of people being treated in hospital with the virus has fallen.
The latest figures from the UK coronavirus dashboard show a total of 163 people had died in the area by April 27 – up from 161 on the week before.
York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals Trust was caring for 99 patients with Covid in hospital as of May 10, figures show.
NHS England data shows the number of people being treated in hospital with Covid by 8am on the day was down from 108 the previous week.

The number of beds at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust occupied by people who tested positive for Covid decreased by 32 per cent in the last four weeks – 28 days ago, there were 146.
Nationally, the number of hospital patients with Covid has decreased by 35 in the last four weeks, while the number on mechanical ventilators has decreased by 26 per cent.
The figures also show that 40 new patients with Covid were admitted to hospital in York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the week to May 8. This was up from 39 in the previous seven days.
