Sherburn celebrated the coronation of King Charles III on Sunday May 7.
There was a Café Church for the whole family in the morning followed by a ‘Party in the Park’ at the Playing field from 3pm to 7pm.
Villagers brought along picnics and there was a bouncy castle, face painting, tombola and sporting activities and a DJ providing music.
Party in the Park was organised by a joint committee from the Sports Club and the Village Hall.
A spokesperson said: "What a fabulous day we have had at party in the park. It’s been lovely seeing so many of the village come together and celebrate and bonus the weather has been lovely. We would like to thank all those that helped make the day a success a lot of hard work but it’s been worth it."
