EMERGENCY services were on the after children set fire to a wooden pallet in a North Yorkshire park.
Firefighters responded to the report of the fire at 4.04pm today (April 11) in Quarry Mount Park, Scarborough.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crew from Scarborough responded to reports of a fire started by children in a park.
“Crew located a wooden pallet smouldering and extinguished using one hose reel jet.”
