THE sun shines in Ryedale today (April 7) – but will it last over the Easter bank holiday weekend?
Forecasters at the Met Office have predicted that sunshine across the district is to continue, reaching a high of 11C at 3pm.
It will stay dry throughout the day, with the temperature starting to fall from 5pm.
Tonight will see a low of 6C, with a cloudy start forecast for tomorrow (Saturday).

This is to continue throughout the day with the weather remaining dry and temperatures sitting at around 10C.

There is a 10 per cent chance of rain in the morning, with the afternoon looking dry.
Temperatures are forecast to sit at 10C - 13C throughout the day.
