EMERGENCY services were called after aerosol cans and timber were set on fire in Malton.
Firefighters from the town responded to the report of a smouldering fire in the open in Old Maltongate at 7.26pm yesterday (April 6).
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service said: “Crews located the fire measuring approximately one metre x one metre consisting of aerosol cans and timber.
“Crews extinguished the fire and dampened down the area using a hose reel jet.”
