A FORMER Methodist Chapel has gone on the market – offering buyers the chance to own a piece of history.

The former chapel is located in Fangdale Beck, Bilsdale, in the North York Moors National Park, just off the B1257 Helmsley to Stokesley Road.

It boasts a unique look with reminders of its past life throughout, and clear views spanning the surrounding countryside.

The three bed home comes with a £350,000 price tag, and is being sold by Peter Illingworth Estate Agents, based in Kirkbymoorside.

On the ground floor of the property there is a front entrance lobby and hall, leading through to a separate sitting room and kitchen.

The inner hall has access to the principal rooms including the dining room, in addition to the cloakroom and integral garage.

Outside there is a car standing area, with a lawned garden to the south and west of the property.

The home is heated by oil fired central heating.
