The team at a Pickering farm shop is celebrating after reaching the final of a regional food and drink business award.
Cedarbarn Farm Shop has been shortlisted in the Best Retailer category in the Azets Food and Drink Business Awards.
Cedarbarn's co-founder, Mandy Avison, said: "This is great news as we celebrate our 15th anniversary this year. We have a loyal following and are grateful to our team and customers for helping us to this milestone. We are naturally very proud to be a finalist in this category."
Cedarbarn faces competition from fellow finalists, Yorkshire Garden Centres, York Gin and Weetons Food Hall. The team will learn whether they have been successful at an awards ceremony on Thursday, April 27, at the Parade Ring Restaurant, York Racecourse.
Cedarbarn Farm Shop and Café began as a small PYO strawberries operation from a caravan 26 years ago. It is now a thriving farm shop and café that sources a large percentage of its produce from its farm and a neighbouring farm supplemented with local suppliers.
