STUDENTS at a school in Ryedale are preparing to take to the stage and perform an iconic musical.
Over 100 students from Ryedale School have been working on the their production of Oliver!
The show opens on March 28, and will run every night at 6.30pm in the school hall until March 31.
A spokesperson for Ryedale School said: “This has been our biggest performing arts project since the pandemic and we're looking forward to welcoming great audiences every night.

The cast from the school will perform the show by Lionel Bart, with orchestral arrangements by William David Brohn.
Oliver! is based on the 1838 novel ‘Oliver Twist’ by Charles Dickens, and is to be performed at Ryedale School by arrangement with Music Theatre International.
Tickets are priced at £8 for adults, and £4 for those in full-time education.
