THE RYEDALE branch of the RAF Association has appointed a new president.
At the annual general meeting on March 1, long-standing member Malcolm Barnard was appointed as president to serve for a term of three years.
Malcolm was presented with his badge of office by vice-president Rosemary Schofield.
It is the first time the branch has had a full complement of officers in post since the death of founding president Cyril Shreeve in April 2022.
Allan Jones was elected to the position of vice-Chairman at the same meeting.
