FORECASTERS have predicted when snow is to hit Ryedale – as a yellow weather warning for snow and ice has been issued.
BBC Weather, in association with MeteoGroup, has forecast light snow showers across Ryedale next Thursday (March 9).
Forecasters say that sleet showers are expected through the day, turning to light snow showers from 8pm and continuing until early Saturday morning.

Yellow weather warnings have been issued by the Met Office and are in place from early Monday (March 6) morning to late Tuesday (March 7) across the UK, including North Yorkshire.
Despite this, just sleet is currently forecast for Ryedale.
BBC forecasters say this is to start on Monday night and continue throughout the day on Tuesday.
