A POPULAR agricultural show in North Yorkshire is to return – after a three year break due to Covid.
The Rosedale Show is set to go ahead in Milburn Arms Field, Rosedale Abbey, on Saturday, August 19.
As reported by the Gazette & Herald, prior to 2019 the show took place every year since 1871.
Last year (2022), the Rosedale Make, Bake and Grow Show was organised as a scaled down alternative to the Rosedale Show.

Rosedale Show committee member, Lynn Kershaw, previously told the Gazette & Herald that this smaller show proved to be a success and gave the committee “a lot to think about” when deciding if the Rosedale Show was to return in its full form this year.
Now, the show is returning for what will be its 150th year.
For the launch of this year’s show, the committee are looking for donations of sponsorship to support the show and it's many classes.
These include: flowers; horses; sheep; cows; men’s baking; kids’ classes; dogs; baking; and more.
