FIREFIGHTERS were on the scene at a chimney fire in a Ryedale village.
A crew from Helmsley attended to the chimney fire in Main Street, Sproxton, at 6.43pm yesterday evening (February 15).
The fire was due to a build up of soot.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said a chimney kit and thermal imaging camera were used to extinguish the fire.
