FIREFIGHTERS were called to a large fire in the open near a major road in North Yorkshire.
A crew from Pickering attended to the fire that had been left unattended, which could be seen from the A170 Wrelton at 6.26pm yesterday evening (February 15).
The fire was a large fire near trees.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was extinguished using one hose reel and small tools.
