FIREFIGHTERS were on the scene at a house fire in a North Yorkshire town.
Two appliances from Scarborough and Filey attended the fire at a two-storey semi-detached domestic property in Barrowcliff Road, Scarborough, at 2.30pm yesterday (February 7).
Upon arrival of the fire crews, a 30-year-old man was out of the property and taken to hospital suffering smoke inhalation.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire caused “significant fire and smoke damage”.
