FIRE and rescue crews were on the scene after a man got into difficulty when rescuing his dogs from a river in Malton today (January 23).
The crews responded to the report at 11.52am this morning.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The male was out of the water on arrival of fire and rescue crews, as were the dogs.
“Crew transported male via land rover to a safer area for ambulance paramedics to assess him.”
