POLICE officers seized a car in a North Yorkshire town after discovering the driver had no insurance.
The Honda Civic came to police’s attention after officers spotted the car displaying a registration plate, which did not align to the correct make and model.
Following further enquiries, police stopped the car last night (November 28) in Durham Place, Scarborough.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police added: “The driver admitted to driving the Honda without a valid car insurance policy.
“The car was subsequently seized, and the driver reported for the insurance offence and another of not having a valid MOT for the Honda.”
