A CHOIR from a Ryedale town is set to wow crowds at a Christmas concert raising money for a good cause.
Harmonia Choir will perform a concert of Christmas music to raise funds for Yorkshire Cancer Research on Saturday, December 10, at 7pm.
The award-winning choir from Malton has been invited by the charity to sing at St. Michael's Church, Malton.
It will be Harmonia's first Christmas concert for three years and the repertoire will include traditional carols as well as some more contemporary Christmas songs such as ‘Santa Baby’ and ‘A Winter's Tale.’
Also performing on the night are 'The Harmonettes' - a group of five from Harmonia, who will treat the audience to a-cappella arrangements of Christmas favourites.
Tickets are priced at £10 and include mulled wine and a mince pie.
For tickets, please contact Edna Drabble on 01653 694230 and Wendy Chapman on 07973 113529.
