Plans have been submitted to convert part of the former Woodall store in Malton.
The application includes the change of use and alteration of part of the vacant retail premises to form a three-bedroom dwelling to include installation of a window to the rear elevation while maintaining commercial/retail use in the remainder of the building.
The plans have been put forward by the Fitzwilliam Malton Estate along with a listed building application.
G Woodall & Sons Ltd traded in Malton for 134 years before moving to an online presence in 2019.
The building has since remained empty.
