AN INVESTIGATION has been launched following a fire at a pub near Scarborough.
Crews were on the scene at The Byways pub, in Crossgates, at 6.27pm last night (November 13).
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Scarborough and Filey crews attended and extinguished a fire to a residential building. Hose reels used. A fire investigation officer also attended.”
The fire investigation remains ongoing, with the cause still said to be unknown.
