DRIVERS in and around Ryedale will have four National Highways road closures to watch out for this week - and one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• A64, from 8pm September 26 to 6am November 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A64 eastbound and westbound, Pickering to West Heslerton, carriageway closures and traffic signals for carriageway improvements, diversion in place via local authority network.

• A64, from 8pm October 17 to 6am November 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 eastbound and westbound, Askham Bryan to Seamer, Lane closures general cleaning and maintenance.
And a further two closures will begin over the next seven days:
• A64, from 8pm November 3 to 6am November 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 eastbound and westbound, Malton, Lane closures for survey works.
• A64, from 9.30am to 3.30pm on November 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A64 eastbound, Sherburn, lane closure for Yorkshire Water works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
