A JOB fair will take place next month for citizens in Ryedale.
The fair will be held at Malton Rugby Club on Tuesday, November 1, from 11am to 1.30pm.
It has been organised by Ryedale District Council and the Job Centre and businesses from a variety of industries will be attending.
These industries include engineering, health and social care, and manufacturing with roles on offer covering full time, part time and family-friendly working hours.
Phillip Spurr, programme director of place and resources for Ryedale District Council, said: “As a council we want Ryedale to have a strong economy with jobs linked to growth industries such as engineering, manufacturing, tourism, food and drink and farming.
“I would encourage anyone looking for work, thinking about a job change or trying to get back into work after a break to come along and see what is on offer by chatting to employers.”
Those interested in attending the job fair are welcome to attend on the day, no prior registration is necessary.
Employers with vacancies that would like to enquire about any remaining spaces at the event should email business@ryedale.gov.uk.
For small and micro business owners who may not have capacity to leave their businesses to attend the event, Ryedale District Council will be running a stand to raise awareness of vacant positions.
