A community band which raises funds for charity has made two presentations.
Charity Brass handed over cheques to representatives of Yorkshire Air Ambulance and Against Breast Cancer.
Kevin Hutchinson, of Yorkshire Air Ambulance, was presented with a gift of £200 from cornet player Stella Downing, a former recipient of the helicopter service when she needed urgent life saving support.
David Smith-Collins received his sponsor money, from Charity Brass, having completed the London Marathon. He ran in support of Against Breast Cancer, a charity which in turn has benefitted his wife Victoria, a horn player with Charity Brass.
If you have a charitable cause dear to your heart that you would like the band to play for, then please get in touch with Cliff Hicks on 01653 693599
