POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information about a serious assault in a North Yorkshire town.
The victim is a man in his 50s, who was assaulted and suffered a head injury after being assaulted in Scarborough on Tuesday, August 16, between 9pm and 10pm.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “The victim does not recall the exact location but was walking from West Park Terrace and the assault probably happened on Falsgrave Road, Victoria Road or North Marine Road.”
Police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
In particular, officers are appealing for information from any passers-by or motorists who may have witnessed the incident.
