FIREFIGHTERS were on the scene yesterday (August 15) at a campfire, which had spread to a large log in woodland in Malton.
Crews from Malton attended to the fire on Old Malton Road at 5.19pm.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was extinguished by crews using a hose reel.
