A NORTH YORKSHIRE stately home is set to host a range of musical acts.
Castle Howard will welcome performers across many genres from August 19-21.
Over the weekend there will be Ibiza house classics, the Castle Howard Proms and even ABBA at the statley home.
Kicking off the weekend on the Friday, August 19, is the Café Mambo Ibiza ‘classics at the castle’ event, which will run from 5pm-11pm
The legendary Ibiza party café, will celebrate the music that has made it one of the top locations for DJs to play over the past 25 years.
Headliner, DJ Armand Van Helden, will bring his chart-topping grooves, such as ‘My, My, My’ and You Don’t Know Me’, to the stately home, while acts such as Shapeshifters Live, best known for their UK number 1, Lola’s Theme, will carry the party through the day.
Mambo Ibiza resident DJ Erik Hagleton, will also play on the day, and organisers say the crowd will quickly get moving as soon as he takes to the decks.

On Saturday, August 20, Castle Howard will hold its Proms from 5pm-10.15pm.
Guest soloists Wynne Evans and Marisha Wallace will be joined on stage by the London Gala Orchestra conducted by Stephen Bell.
Popular classics, musical numbers and flag waving Proms favourites including ‘Jerusalem’, ‘Rule Britannia’, and ‘Pomp & Circumstance No.1’ will all be heard on the night, which is said to be one to remember.
There will also be a Spitfire flyover, lasers and a firework finale, which organisers say will bring a ‘magical evening of musical entertainment.’
General admission tickets for the Proms are £49.50 including booking fee and child tickets (ages five to 16) are priced at £5.50 including booking fee.

Closing the weekend is ABBA Symphonic, who will take to the stage from 5pm-10.15pm on Sunday, August 21.
The group features leading star performers from London’s West End production of MAMMA MIA!, backed by a rock band, together with full orchestra.
They will deliver a concert of ABBA’s greatest hits such as, Waterloo, Dancing Queen, Voulez Vous.
A spokesperson for the event described the show as a “breath-taking concert of ABBA’s greatest hits on an epic scale in a show that will have you on your feet dancing the night away.”
Support on the night will come from Irish singer-songwriter Jack Lukeman who has toured the UK as a special guest to artists including Jools Holland, The Proclaimers and Neil Sedaka.
