LATE-NIGHT services have been arranged for a popular Malton music festival.
The boutique family-friendly music festival, Meadowfest, returns tomorrow (July 30) and will be held in the meadow between the River Derwent and the Talbot Hotel from 10am-10pm.
Later train services have been arranged for event goers to get home afterwards.
TransPennine Express will be operating an 11pm service from Malton to York and Scarborough tomorrow night to accommodate those leaving the festival after the headline act, The Feeling.
While TransPennine Express is not directly impacted by ASLEF’s driver strike action tomorrow, the knock-on effects of the strike are likely to cause delays on lines across North Yorkshire.
Those planning on travelling by train are advised to check timetables up until they are about to travel as delays are to be expected.
Tickets are still available for Meadowfest, and can be booked online here: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/visitmalton/614272/
