EMERGENCY services were called to a fire in the open yesterday (July 11) near Scarborough.
Fire crews from Scarborough and Filey were on the scene at 6.45pm in Shire Croft, Eastfield.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
“This was a small rubbish fire and was extinguished using buckets of water.”
