EMERGENCY services were called to extinguish a disposable barbecue that had been left burning in a woodland area.
Crews from Scarborough were called to the scene at 7.28pm yesterday (July 7) evening at Harwood Dale, Scarborough.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
“Crews from Scarborough extinguished a disposable barbecue that had been left smouldering in woodland.
“Crews used a hose reel to extinguish the fire.”
