FIREFIGHTERS were called in after a fire last night.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said their crews were called out at 5.38pm last night (May 23) to Scarborough.
Crews were called to Wrench Green after a fire in woodland involving tyres.
A service spokesman said: "Scarborough crew attended a fire in woodland involving tyres.
Crews used a backpack sprayer to extinguish the fire."
