Crews attend kite stuck on street lighting in Scarborough
Firefighters were called in after a report of a kite stuck on street lighting yesterday afternoon (May 8).
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said their crews were called out at 3.10pm yesterday to Scarborough.
Crews were called to Foreshore Road after a report of the kite on street lighting with potential to cause an accident on the carriageway.
A service spokesman said: "The crews inspected the scene and advice was given to the council to safely remove."
