YORK City's scheduled match against Hereford this weekend has been postponed.
York had been hoping to build on back-to-back victories over Spennymoor Town and Farsley Celtic against the win-less Hereford at the LNER Community Stadium on Saturday.
But, as seen throughout City's term in 2020/21, which was ultimately declared null and void, the game will not go ahead at the pre-planned date amid the coronavirus pandemic.
While both clubs have confirmed that the game has been delayed, York have stated that there has been a "Covid outbreak" in the Hereford camp.
Hereford themselves however have reported that the postponement has been caused by a "potential Covid 19 incident at Hereford FC."
"A new fixture date will be released in due course," said both clubs.
In a club statement, York added: "All advance tickets and car park passes bought for this fixture will be automatically transferred to the rearranged fixture.
If you are booked into hospitality, you will receive an email with further details.
