FIREFIGHTERS were called in to extinguish an agricultural building.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service say crews from Malton and York were called to Thixendale at around 1.15pm yesterday (June 29).
A spokesperson said: “Crews extinguished the fire and then vented and monitored propane gas bottles that were in the shed involved. Crews also assisted in moving pheasant chicks from unaffected sheds at the property.”
