A MOUNTAIN rescue team were called into action after a walker fell down a bank.
Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team (SRMRT) were deployed yesterday afternoon (May 27) at around 2:21pm to assist in the evacuation of a male walker who had fallen down a bank in Dove Dale on the approach to Bridestones, on Staindale Moor.
A spokesperson said: “Working with the ambulance service crew, the patient was treated on site and packaged onto one of our Bell stretchers before being carried back to car park at Stain Dale for transfer to an ambulance and transportation to definitive medical care.”
The mountain rescue team had twelve team members deployed for two and a half hours.
