THIS week’s selection of readers’ photographs is a great mix showcasing some of Ryedale’s landscapes, as well as some of its wildlife.
A picture of a robin never fails to make you smile, and this one taken by Elizabeth Gray in Cold Kirby certainly knows how to strike a pose for the camera.
Digby the dog looks like he has missed going to his local while out on his daily walk. Here he is
during lockdown, snapped in action by Robert Rayner.
Talking of food and drinks, Jenny Stead photographed “feeding time” for this flock of sheep on Levisham Moor. The view is looking towards the Hole of Horcum.
Meanwhile, Mike Potter and Ken Monkman have submitted two great pictures capturing on camera our beautiful surroundings. For Mike it was a view of Gillamoor, and for Ken sunset over the River Derwent in Malton.
And finally for this week, Nick Fletcher has gone festive with this picture of holly at St Michael’s Church in Malton.
We love to see our readers’ photographs. It could be a seasonal landscape or simply your favourite view of our beautiful surroundings.
If you would like to submit a picture, email it to gazette@gazetteherald.co.uk
