MOUNTAIN rescue have helped a man suffering from exhaustion early this morning.
Seven members of Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team (SRMRT) attended the incident at 12.38am on the high ground to the west side of Jugger Howe Beck, in Fylingdales Moor, near Scarborough.
The gentleman was reported to be uninjured and accompanied by a second walker, but unable to continue the walk.
After establishing their position with the PhoneFind utility, a covid secure team responded and vehicles were deployed.
The team drove onto the moor and walked out to the group’s position.
After a medical assessment, the two were escorted to the vehicles before been driven to support vehicles on the A169.
