A VILLAGE is opening more than a dozen gardens to the public, alongside a Wedding Through The Ages exhibition.
Crayke is staging an open gardens and village event on April 18 and 19, from 11am to 5pm, coinciding with the flowering of thousands of daffodils on the village green.
The open gardens will feature a range of diverse gardens with different plants and styles to interest both amateur and skilled gardeners.
St Cuthbert’s Church is hosting a Weddings Through The Ages exhibition, including wedding attire, personal memorabilia and the changing fashions of wedding flowers.
Another display includes the Crayke’s Ecology 2019 audit, with information relating to both the sports club, village hall and photographs of bygone days.
Refreshments will be on sale throughout the day, including free parking.
Tickets cost £5 per adults and free for children.
