Ramblers (Ryedale Group)

  • May 23: 10am, Kirkbymoorside Memorial Hall. Themed walk with history, archaeology and natural history, eight miles, grid ref SE 696865, leader N Summerton. No dogs.
  • May 26: 9.45am, Sandsend car park, 9.53am bus to Staithes and then walk the Cleveland Way back, 9.5 miles, grid ref NZ 861128, leader T Strickland. No dogs.
  • June 2: 10am start from Kepwick Chapel car park, 10 miles, grid ref SE 466907, leader E Prest. No dogs.

Ryedale Walking Group

  • May 25: Cowbar (Staithes) to Saltburn linear walk, 8.6 miles (moderate+), park/start 10.30am at Cowbar Lane off A174 west of Staithes near Boulby mine, grid ref NZ771186. Return from Saltburn on Arriva X4 bus.
  • May 27: Westow, Howsham and Crambe, 7.5 miles moderate, park/start 10.30am, grid ref SE753652. Considerate parking in Westow near Blacksmith’s Arms.
