DISCOVER the range of wildlife living in your garden and how you can help it thrive at Helmsley Walled Garden this weekend.
The RSPB, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and Bumble Bee Conservation will be on hand from 10am each day to answer questions from the public, as well as providing activities for children.
Tricia Harris, the garden's marketing manager, said: “Wildlife is important to us all, from beautiful creatures like the barn owl and the otter, down to insects we don’t give much thought to. We need them all which is why we want as many people to come and discover just that a difference they make and how serious it will be if we lose them."
Admission to Helmsley Walled Garden is £7.50 for adults and free for under 16s.
