SCARBOROUGH & Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team (SRMRT) saw its busiest year ever in 2018.
The mountain rescue service logged 89 callouts last year, up from 77 the year before and above the previous record of 87 callouts in 2016.
The 2018 callouts included a wide range of incidents, from the slips, trips and falls on the moors and in Dalby Forest, to people getting lost, stranded and going missing.
Everyone in the Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team is a volunteer, and the team rely on charitable donations to fund their work and equipment. For more information, go to srmrt.org.uk
