TWO people have been taken to hospital following an accident at the B1257 crossroads in Slingsby.
The incident involved two cars, one with two adults and four children. One of the children was treated at the scene by firefighters for a bump to their head and taken to hospital as precaution.
The driver of the other car was released by firefighters after they removed the door and was taken to hospital with a broken wrist and lower back injury.
The road has now reopened.
