A LADIESWEAR business is moving to larger premises in Malton.
Bella di Notte, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary later this year, will move from Sawmill Lane in Helmsley to Malton Enterprise Park this month.
The Helmsley shop will close on March 17, and the new Malton shop will open on March 21.
Susan Johnson, founder of Bella di Notte, said: “We’re very sad to be leaving Helmsley, which has always been the home of Bella di Notte, but unfortunately we simply couldn’t find the size and style of premises we needed in the town.
“Our newly-built 5,000 sq ft warehouse and shop in Malton will double the square footage we have now, which is very much needed.
“It’s been a staggering few years, and with the catalogue and online side of the business booming as much as our face-to-face store, we need additional warehouse space as well as a bigger shop floor.
“We really have loved being part of the Helmsley community, and we hope that our many wonderful local customers will come and see us in Malton.
“We’re very excited about this next stage in the company’s development, and we have ambitious plans for the future.”
We focus on quality, well-fitting fashion which will last women for many years – I think a lot of people are seeing past the ‘throw-away’ fashion which has been all over the high street in recent years.”
